Tbh I never watch, but I will be not watching especially hard this year

I am a recent convert to Eurovision and I am totally obsessed. I will be sad to miss it because it truly brings me so much joy.

Unfortunately, BDS is calling for a boycott from viewers so I will be boycotting.

I really hope all of the pressure campaigns work and they change their mind and remove Israel from the show. It's absurd that Russia is excluded and Israel isn't. (They should both be out.)

if it makes you feel any better there's nothing stopping you from at least checking out the songs and national final performances because the ebu don't "own" the songs themselves and it helps the artists more than anything else

This is a great step to take. It's honestly horrific that countries aren't imposing sanctions on Israel. Like...how are we all just doing business with them like everything is normal? We need more boycotts like they did with South Africa in the 80s.

Good. I've already been gradually tuning out of it/watching replays instead of live acts as I've got older, but I'm not watching any of it this year.

The fact that they had a patriotic song while they're starving a nation was insane to me. Should have been removed. I usually don't bother anyway but hard pass this year. Fuck em. I hope they come last.
