I’m honestly confused by your comment. What does she have to do with Ruffalo?

And you’re saying celebs are useless on a post for a celeb who is calling for a ceasefire??

Ruffalo said that as he was rushing down the red carpet at the Oscar’s because they were made late by the pro-Palestine protest that held everything up. One of the reporters said something to him about being late and he walked over to say that. He was specifically talking about the humanity of the people causing a massive delay to the Oscar’s and how great it was. I don’t think anyone with a soul would use the word humanity in relation to any of the things being done in Gaza currently.

I'm glad people are speaking up, but like others have said, asking for a ceasefire now just suggest that you were fine with it up until now.

I was watching clips of BBC Question Time last night and it's crazy to see the far right talking about how Gaza isn't starving and Hamas could end it all and seeing only one person in the crowd clap. The SHIFT in the public thinking is something I never thought I'd see in my lifetime.

That said, while the people in government still give "Israel" a blank cheque it won't change.

I saw comments that the Biden administration has given the go ahead for an assault on Rafah if they do it 'cautiously' which is basically a green light for the IOF to go in and commit genocide on a displaced population.

And people still want to press people to vote for Biden.

I agree with your sentiments but, unfortunately, it's not voting for Biden. It's voting against the alternative who has already set democracy back decades and has ruined the Supreme Court for generations. If non-Biden gets elected, voting rights are out the window and that's just for starters.

Maybe they should try being less supportive of genocide if they want to protect voting rights?

The GOP doesn't care about human rights so they certainly don't give a shit about genocide.

Yessss!!! Her and Johnathan Glazer are my award show faves right now!

Highlight of this week was pizza night, which we have every week because we have two kids. The BDS heavily limited our options since we live in the burbs but we tried a new to us place and it was SO good and PALESTINIAN OWNED!!!! Definitely our new go to✨

I’ve discovered my favourite falafel place is Palestinian owned as well. Coincidentally I found out about it because I was looking for a better falafel place after the first one I visited was bland (turns out it’s Israeli owned and they were hiding it).
