tbh Calling for a ceasefire seems like the bare minimum but considering how hostile the industry is towards any criticism of Israel and what has happened to others who spoke up, I guess I can't be too harsh. I give extra kudos to those who wore the Palestinian flag pins though.

I remember when I was in college years long ago and the type of support Palestine is getting now is still shocking to me. It's sad it took a genocide for people to wake up but social media and the younger generation are definitely factors that have turned the tide.

It’s def not bare minimum! It’s great cause I remember 10 years ago celebs were immediately threatened with a blacklist and basically had to apologize just supporting or showing any concern toward the Palestinian people.

Now it’s a breath of fresh air to able to speak (although smaller celebs are getting blacklisted :S)

Wait, where is this Ruffalo connection?? I responded to another comment who mentioned him. Been up for at least 72 hours with maybe 4 hours of sleep in that and I hate using that as an excuse but here we are

He's mentioned on the last sentence:

"During Sunday's Academy Awards, before heading into the auditorium, Ruffalo said: "The Palestinian protest shut down the Oscars tonight! Humanity wins!""

I’m glad she did!

Mark has remained one of the most consistent celebs. He’s for sure not been perfect in any way but he is a good person where it counts

It’s tough seeing so many celebs staying silent right now
