Then Tess happened and I never felt hatred for a character before how DARE she get in the way of my OTP lmao poor Emilie didn't deserve that 😪

I rewatched season 1 and I think it still holds up pretty well. The mystery was intriguing and William Sadler as the sheriff was great casting.

I hated Max and found him to be a horrible person (he was especially nasty to Isabel) so his relationship with Liz was meh to me, therefore I didn't care that Tess was "in their way".
All of Max and Liz's problems were Max's fault anyway. He literally came from the future to tell Liz to break up with him lol

I also just was so put off when he refused to accept that she broke up with him. His behavior was just all red flags there.
