Amazing how society learned something, but governments / employers basically said "No, go back to making us money and pumping out low wage laborers" and people just....complied. Eating a shitty meal at Applebees' was really that important, huh?

part of the problem is for the people who work at Applebee's and the like, there's no other option. no relief. no aid. they make it impossible either way.

100% fair. Basketball teams didn't need aid, but the restaurant workers sure did.

yeah :( that's why I was always frustrated at people harping on restaurants like...I get it but also...most of these people have no other option

I'm still adjusting to life going back to normal tbh. I feel like everyone around me adjusted real fast..everyone except for me.

Yep, I was getting ready for a class project and I still have clear memories of walking down the halls of the building and overhearing people talking about COVID. Everyone seemed spooked but little did we know…

simultaneously feels like yesterday, but also a lot longer than four years ago

I can't believe it was that long ago. It still feels like yesterday. I was so thankful for ONTD, I'm surprised I didn't fall into a deep depression, tbh. I was depressed, but I'm surprised it didn't get any worse.

I found a lot of new interests, though. I told myself I'd go out and make new friends and travel when things got normal~ but lol that hasn't happened. I've driven 2.5 hours away, in the same state, to go a film shop a few times, but that's it! Such travel, very worldly. Does it count if the films are from other countries? Because I've been everywhere!

I love you all ♥
