I generally like JLC as an actress too and think she deserves an Oscar at some point. This just wasn’t it. It’s like Leo for The Revenant all over again (he should’ve gotten it for What’s Eating Gilbert Grape, Catch Me If You Can, The Aviator, or Django Unchained).
