yes. but people ignored it. i kind of find people forgetting that, his sobriety issues, and olivia munn's stalking makes this situation a lot less funny and the projection way weirder.

I don't remember that, but I do remember Mulaney talking about his intervention that sent him to rehab.

I thought it was very telling that she wasn't at that. Made me think they'd broke up a while ago at that point.

Tbh I think people are/were projecting the "wife guy" label onto him and are now overly upset about what happened.

He did talk about his wife in his stand up, but he didn't focus on her the way people act like he did imo.

the only joke i can remember is the she's a jewish bitch and i love her one which i didn't really care for back then anyway. i think because he has that nice guy charming in a goofy way aura about him that people projected anything they wanted onto him so the messiness felt like a betrayal.

the way people STILL act about this reminds me of taylor swift stans who live vicariously through her songs and place themselves in the victim role.

No, there were more mentions of her and the dog.
I don't disagree with you, but somehow feel compelled to point out that people don't completely make things up, he put this label on himself like a scout's badge.

But every comedian does that. I feel like people just made a bigger deal of it because his bits weren't about hating his wife. He didn't talk about her excessively.

I just can already see the corny ass tiktoks about this book where white women will refer to themselves as "girlies" and talk about "girlhood" and "girl rage" while "What was I made for " plays in the background. I also really don't understand why white women are obsessed with painting her as a victim. She just got a divorce.

i agree with all of this and i would like to add on that making art of yourself as anne boleyn is not very good art
