Also, I'm guessing this was for the Will/Emma episode since the episode ended with a bunch of couples walking into rooms... wait a second, was this for the episode in the 4th season where everyone is back in Lima for the Emma/Will wedding and after the reception we see a bunch of couples getting together into rooms...? Because now I wanna know if they originally wanted 5 couples for that scene, or if the plan was four so one of the couples was added later (is this why they came up with Santana/Quinn????)

definitely not that episode, sam was (tragically) with brittany at that point. this would have been during s5, when sam and mercedes were dating again while living together in new york. there was a whole plot about mercedes' virginity. i'm assuming it was originally going to end with them having sex but amber didn't want that, so instead they resolved it with sam agreeing to wait.

I respect her for having this stance for a high school character but also lololol. I grew up in a very catholic/christian town. Everyone said that. I probably said it too. 🤣 I know a few people who did abstain until they were married but they were the exception. Most of us gave it up in college.

But she was right - objectively - to say no. Her character wouldn’t do that, so it’s good to see she was protecting what she felt was right for her character.
