On season 5 of Glee, Mercedes had declared that she wasn’t ready to have sex and wanted to wait for marriage, and Riley felt her character “should stick to her guns.”

I respect her for having this stance for a high school character but also lololol. I grew up in a very catholic/christian town. Everyone said that. I probably said it too. 🤣 I know a few people who did abstain until they were married but they were the exception. Most of us gave it up in college.
