How many suspensions has this been for Stabler now? Should he retire and just become a PI instead? Happy Ayanna got out of hospital but mostly I'm excited Cragen is back next week!!!! I wanna go binge the glory days of SVU now. What's your go-to season?

I commented simply bc I saw Dann Florek and just listened to their interview with him a few days ago. He has a painting of himself with the monkey in the basketball that was gifted to him when he left the show. It is fabulous.

Law and order: It was fairly obvious that the jumper at the start of the episode was the shooter. It couldn't just be a side story. No new DA?

Organised crime: seems to go going through cast members. Also, How is Stabler an expert at criminal profiling and religious iconography?

Unless I missed something, I don't think they were trying to make him an expert in religious iconography. Stabler (and Carisi) have always been written as hardcore Catholics. Holes in the feet and hands was, imo, super obvious that it was meant to be religious based. The stupid jesus fish also had a recycled trendiness in the late 80s or 90s.

I guess I'm a bit fed up of "Super Stabler" able to go undercover all willynilly despite being part of high profile cases and coming up with that profile off the top off his dead and knowing the religious iconography was the last straw even though it is the only thing that makes sense 🤣.
