I think that plotline got left in season 3. They tend to follow one major group per season although this year’s had a couple already. Now they’re on an escort serial killer.

i'm getting caught up on the latter seasons on SVU, and i just got to the episode where dylan mcdermot is on trial for killing kathy, and omgggg i hateeeee what stabler being back is doing to all the relationships benson fostered when he was gone. liv telling barba "i feel betrayed by you and i don't know if i can get over that"??? hellllll fucking no!

Ugh I hate that the writers ruined Barba and Benson’s friendship the minute Stabler came back. Stabler is not the only guy Benson can be close to, writers! It’s such a shame because Raul Esparza is so hot in the Wheatley eps, really every time he comes back, that beard, whew!

My thoughts on SVU remain the same: Carisi will only work as an ADA if he's working *with* Barba. He's just isolated and flat as a character now. The Rollins thing didn't help as it made both of them into absolute bores but now she's gone (as a result of the terrible relationship) and he's a less charismatic version of Barba and a less fun version of himself. It makes me sad - he was such a great character for his first couple of seasons. At least he's still hot.
