One of her comparisons was that two people were on the phone eating at a table with a white tablecloth. Like, girl, reach more.

But Sarah is copying an aesthetic herself so she’s claiming Selena is copying the aesthetic she is copying?

i love when selena is messy and gets what she deserves, but this is not it.

shooting vaguely similar trope moments in the same location is not plagerism, and tumblr was all about sarah's "signature aesthetic" long before 2014, when she debuted.

i'm sure she truly does feel plagerized, and i feel for her as a WOC, but... her aesthetic is not very original either, so.

Just judging from that video, this woman should spend more time citing her own sources.

This is probably the most overdone aesthetic for marketing/entertainment/social media culture for years now. Her examples are sooooo unspecific that is weakens her whole point. Matching towel set? Really?

Maybe if all these references she picked up on were from the same piece of work, it would feel more like plagiarism, but girl, one or two very loose references, dare I say, from like 4 or 5 different videos is a little too much.
