I'm obsessed with how fucking salty 11:11 is.

Megara came in second in Benidorm last year, losing to Blanca Paloma who did abysmally at the grand final. Megara tried to enter Benidorm again this year, were rejected, and so went on to complete and won for San Marino.

the flamenco breakdown, literally calling out Benidorm, plus the last line of the song is literally "que si tú no me quieres/otra gente me querrá" (if you don't want me, other people will) lmfao

and it's extra wild because Nebulossa completed for San Marino last year and didn't even make it to the final!

I loooove him. I hope he wins the final and goes to Eurovision AND makes a political statement there.

I'm a little underwhelmed. It's fine, but feels really tepid.

I agree. I could be swayed with an epic staging, but it's certainly not one of his stronger or more engaging songs. If it wins, it'll turn into a whole discussion that he only won because of politics just like everyone discounted Ukraine's win as being only political.

A) now I want to hear more of his songs bc I dug this

B) tbh Stefania is one of the 3 Eurovision songs I still listen to on a daily basis (the others being Spirit in the Sky by Norway in 2019 and El Diablo)

Klefi is a collab with Hatari and it fucking SLAPS. It's more of what I was expecting from him this year but in hindsight I don't know why because it was clearly a Hatari song that they just had him participate in lol. His EP Maskhara is great and does that thing ESC juries love where it blends traditional musical elements with rump shakers. This one is good but it sounds kind of generic to me!

And I totally agree about Stefania. It wasn't my favorite that year (I'm a card-carrying member of the Konstrakta hive) but it's a solid song!
