That's awesome that she's supporting the NNAF.

I'll be in Chicago during her shows there and I'm debating whether to just pay the resale prices for tickets and go. But as a geriatric Millennial I'm concerned about being too old and out of place there. How Rodrigold is too Rodrigold?

also an elder millennial that would love to see this tour but her resale prices are still outrageous for my city. i might wait until the night before or morning of to check prices though.

i love that she's still relatively early in her career but not too afraid of controversy to take a stance on what she believes in.

my sister and i will be going to the guts tour in july! my sister has been obsessed with olivia ever since she was on disney channel and the date is right before my sister's birthday, so i bought us tickets as her present.

The current culture is def more open~ than 20 years ago but also Olivia is more in the alt-pop rock genre instead of straight bubblegum pop, so she benefits from that genre being more open to that.

"The current culture is def more open"

sadly there are still special snowflakes that will literally make my brain melt, the other day i saw a fan of hers pretty much unstanning her because Olivia released a special shot glass for her 21st birthday, they said that as a 17yo fan they did not feel safe stanning someone who promotes alcoholism.

I just can't with people who think like that. First of all not every mention of alcohol is "promoting alcoholism." Is every tv show and movie where people are at a bar, having a beer at a picnic/BBQ, or drinking wine with dinner considered promoting alcoholism?

Secondly, it's a drinking vessel. I used to collect shot glasses on vacation even when I was legally too young to drink AND I chose not to drink alcohol. I just liked having tiny souvenirs that i sometimes put small things inside. I also have a cute martini glass that I sometimes use to drink juice.

I'm going to one of the LA shows, which is so far away right now! She looks gorgeous though, and the set seems very energetic and a lot of fun.
