Pod Meets World, starring Danielle Fishel, Rider Strong and Will Friedle spoke with family therapist Kati Morton on the subject of grooming on set. Specifically, they discussed working with convicted sexual predator Brian Peck. Strong and Friedle hung out with him everyday, unknowingly being manipulated by Peck. Fishel speculates their parents may have given Peck a pass in an attempt to not seem homophobic. Peck played victim and the cast members believed him, ultimately relying on their friendship and the fact that nothing untoward happened to them. The hosts talk about their regrets in not believing the victim and also their naivity. The hosts were reached for a statement for an upcoming documentary on the darker side of Nickelodeon, Quiet on Set.
