Eevee really is that bitch, like what Pokemon goes as hard in their evolutions. She got something for everyone. (I'm a Sylveon gal though)

25 years and I still hate Pikachu as much as the first day. Can’t stand that asshole, so glad Pokemon Blue was my first GameBoy game ever.

I loved the minigames in Pokemon Stadium 1&2 more than the games themselves, I think.

No lie, if I ever find myself in a situation where I can see that meetable snorlax that they had out for the press event of Pokemon Sleep (think meeting Donald at Disneyland, but Snorlax), I don't care how long that line is, my ass is in that line and I will have the biggest smile.

Let me tell you about how I went to a Pokemon Center in Tokyo, bought a giant Snorlax plushie, FLEW IT to Shanghai, and then flew it over the Pacific to California. My mom thought I was insane. But it's one of my prized possessions

Sugimori Ken's art still outselling to this day, especially the really old illustrations (those on the Time covers seem a bit later to me, Pikachu in ha skinny legend era -- RSE era?). I recently discovered I still have my '90s cards and I'm so happy about it just bc I love the art lol

the TCG artwork from the late 90's were top tier mostly because sugimori did most of the team rocket/gym leader sets which were (and still are) my fave pokemon cards

i love sugimori's pokemon art, the watercolours are sooo charming. i know ppl will say it's the nostalgia talking, but the first game's art just hits different.
