I think it's more to appeal to fans of bodybuilders. It started when Arnold Schwarzenegger was Conan the Barbarian. Like the barbarians had hot wax. 🙄

you can find pics of the actors w body hair while still having the physique so 100% a marvel stylistic choice to be shaven
