I remember Chris saying that they decided to go with waxing his chest and arms in The First Avengers because they thought it would be weird for skinny Steve to have chest/arm hair and be jarring for post-serum Steve to suddenly grow it.

Sure Chris Evans...its TOTALLY realistic that a toothpick of a short guy gets into a machine, grows to like 6ft with a meaty muscled body in 10 seconds but...body hair is where we draw the line for realism lol.
