Aw this is cute. I don’t think they were ever besties on the show but kept it professional, but I always thought it’d be sweet if they were closer friends since they both live in New York and have daughters who are basically the same age (teenagers!) which is crazy.

Although I do feel like all the actresses on TV shows in the 90s/2000s were manipulated and pitted against each other, especially on the WB.

Yeah I always kinda felt like originally the show had intended for their characters to eventually become friends, especially in the first season, but that it didn’t really work out because the chemistry between the actors just wasn’t there. Not that there was any major drama or anything between Katie and Michelle I’m sure, but they just never seemed like they were all that close

I watched Dawson's Creek when it aired. It was fine. There was this ~clique~ of girls in highschool like you can just imagine who would wear home made t-shirts the next day. I'm trying to do the math and seasons...but just the first two seasons? I think.

They weren't mean girls, but them wearing their own created Dawson's Creek related t-shirts the next day became a THING.

I was such a middle type in that I was friends with all, but everyone knew they weren't invited to their Dawson's Creek watching parties. Or calls.

It's just wild that I think of someone named Sarah now and also her shirt and an English teacher trying to teach.

Yes, I do hang out with some former co-workers who have become good friends of mine. I miss working with them.
