I'm glad love bombing is becoming more widely known and shit like this is less likely to be considered cute or romantic. A random stranger sending lavish gifts to a girl nearly 20 years younger than him is so fucking alarming.

Me too, there wasn't much awareness of it when I was growing up, but it was prevalent, especially with big age gaps. My estranged brother used to love bomb his exes and it was depressing hearing of them falling for him, just to realise he was utterly fucked up once the sheen wore off.
