Malin Åkerman, who played Laurie Juspeczyk the second Silk Spectre in 2009’s Watchmen movie, is hosting this year’s Eurovision Song Contest alongside Swedish presenter Petra Mede.

LMAO I just watched Watchmen the movie the other night (now rewatching the show despite it having zero connection to the movie). It's not that bad! It's just VERY long.

I actually commented today in the round-up wondering how people who never read the comics made out trying to understand either the movie or the show (more so the show). I like how the show seems to give a homage to the movie - homage or just mocking it, via the American Hero Story show.
