count me in re: the office. i have tried several times; it is not funny to me. but if say that out loud, damn near everyone in my age group either falls out or tries to shout me down.

There is just no comparison for me.
The UK version is so funny because of that specific brand of second-hand embarrassment. I couldn’t get through one episode of the US one.

There's so many terrible shows marketed as comedy/panel shows in the UK. Mrs Brown's Boys keeps getting renewed by BBC1 and I don't know how. Celebrity Juice got 20 seasons and I don't know how. Death in Paradise is another one. Just so much garbage and it keeps being renewed.
