ahhh I'm watching the new ep right now so I'm running away right after I post this. I just wanted to publicly declare that I LOVE Fiona Shaw.

Same! She really cemented it with Killing Eve for me. Love her in my screen.

I have so many questions after this episode. Ahhh!!!

[Spoiler (click to open)]-why did Evangeline try to beat up that guy? Did he do something to her sister? I couldn't remember

-I cried at the scene where Evangeline's getting help from Qavvik

-That whole last sequence left me 🫨

She picked a fight with three men (though the asshole was the trigger). I think, in part because the physical pain (dealing it and getting the shit kicked out of her) would distract her from the immediate, soul-crushing pain of her sister.

This is what I thought initially, but then I started to think that maybe I had missed something. Thanks!

[Spoiler (click to open)]He was the guy from ep 1 at the factory that hit his gf(?)/female employee and then was resisting arrest. She also poured some fluid (beer?) down his gas tank outside Qavvik's bar.

The way she wailed when Qavvik hugged her? Tears.

This show is so dark! I screamed at one point with like a jump scare. Also i have a hunch as to Who and Why but no clue as to How.

That whole dark, cold town is so depressing.

Really like the dog guy Navarro hooks up with.

Kinda spoilery discussion for this episode below (just as to this episode, i have no clue about the rest of the season:

I felt bad for the cop guy expecting his russian gf at the airport and then clearing the rose petals off the bed. I mean, rationally I shouldn't feel sorry for someone who solicits a (no doubt much younger) russian bride i guess, but it's still so pathetically sad.

Also poor Navarro.

It's hard for me to feel bad for Hank after seeing the shitty way he treats Peter. I mean, he punched his adult son in the face for taking back files that don't even belong to him.

Yea definitely true. I think when i see people in really embarrassing, pathetic romantic situations, it's hard for me not to feel sad for them at first. But Hank is definitely an asshole, and as i mentioned before, i judge any man who goes after mail order brides.
