Lol yes! It's funny how that works. I also can't get over how there was only every that one trailer that played in front of every damn movie.

It's funny seeing ads for The Promised Land now since I guess it released in Denmark early last year considering I watched it on a streaming site. Just a classic, period drama. I loved hating the villain.

Finally got to watch The Zone of Interest. A lot of things to process.

I'm glad all the Argylle reviews were so negative and that the twist was just sitting out there in the initial press release so that I can save my cheap Tuesday money. Though at this rate, I still haven't watched an actual 2024 movie yet lol.

Also saw The Teacher's Lounge which I thought was great.

This week I watched The Hidden Life of Trees (and everyone should) and Rocks (talk about sisterhood stories). Tomorrow is for Holly which looks eerie and I hope that the Flemish deliver.

I finally watched Anatomy of a Fall last night and loved it. I was so tense throughout lol and [Spoiler (click to open)]when they were talking about driving home after drinking at the dinner, I was SURE there was going to be an ironic deadly accident on that winding road they kept showing me!! boy was I relieved when she just showed up safe at home

Sad to hear about Argylle, I was hoping it'd be dumb fun. :/

We continued our Oscar watch last night with Nimona, which I thought was super cute. I liked the animation style and the anachronistic nature of the environment - very fun! And Chloe Grace Moretz is a great voice actor, particularly for that character. The only animated film we still have to watch is Robot Dreams, which I hope comes out soon.

I do want to watch How to Have Sex at some point because I heard good things, but idk if I will leave the apartment this weekend because it's supposed to rain for a week and I don't like driving in the rain here if I can help it. Maybe I'll just stream some stuff I've been putting off.
