i think leo's known for a long time that he was not winning or being nominated for this movie, and still showed up for lily in a big way and i think that's awesome. it's also nice to see a disappointment re: snub being like. reduced to one line and not something that basically ends your campaign before it truly starts in earnest.

i'll follow lily gladstone to any role from now on, especially if it's something as interesting as this promises to be. hopefully kelly reichardt gets a film off the ground again soon and they reunite as well.
