I have been watch a few videos and read a few articles about it which has been interesting! I mean, it isn't my type of game because a lot of people say it like ark and Fortnite had a baby. While Gamefreak doesn't have much of a legal angle, they can go after them for their mesh model because it is very similar to several different pokemon.

Not the article that I read earlier but it talks about it.

I have zero interest in this game because that’s not what I usually play but I’m invested in this drama. I think plenty of monsters look very similar to the original pokemon. The way they are designed makes them look unique in their own way though.

In my heart there are only 150 Pokémon plus an egg thing and a flying space cat and that’s IT

That said these are clearly pokemon next case

As a non-gamer, non-Pokémon fan this is so amusing to me because the day before this game was released I was watching my fiancé play some game and I saw an ad for Palmworld.

I laughed and was like “wait Pokémon have guns now?!” completely oblivious to the fact that this was not a Pokémon product.

How did they not investigate before the game was released?!

lol same. I’m sure those very familiar with Pokémon can argue the differences but for a casual observer like me, I totally thought this was a Pokémon product when I saw some of the images lol
