I don’t care. The game is amazing. The Pokémon Company has done similar things with their designs. Particularly in the early generations. Nothing is original anymore anyways.

Honestly the rips are pretty blatant. 1000 pokemon and they probably could have gotten away with it if they chose some of the uglier and lesser known ones and not goddamn Primarina and am ix between Danphan and maybe Torterra.

I thought it was an obvious parody?
Anyway, it's been exhausting listening to pokemon fans bitch and moan about this game, like it's not palworlds fault Gamefreak is forced to produce slop on a yearly basis so the last 3-4 generation's main games have been absolutely abhorrent.

Haha, the only reason why I’ve heard about it is because our resident pokéstan was complaining about palworld fans doing the most on her feed. I can see it going both ways, though.

I hope the Palworld devs have good legal counseling, because these models are basically Pokémon put into a blender.

is parody not covered in the DMCA?

Yeah I had a lot of tweets on my timeline today from a pokefan myself. The 2-3 people that are actually playing only commented it's fun.
