I only found out who Tate was after I saw her in Olivia’s music video for Bad Idea Right. Their friendship is so cute to me. I love that the Gen Z pop girls all seem to genuinely like and support each other unlike the older ones that were feuding all the time.

why is there beef between olivia and taylor again?

Olivia mentioned she wanted to scream in a song like Taylor does in "Cruel Summer" and ended up having to give Taylor writing credits and like 50% of what she makes from that song (I think "good 4 u"?). I think Paramore also got writing credits because it sounds like "Misery Business," but I don't think they asked or wanted them. Basically, something about song interpolation and it's extra shitty because Olivia used to be a huge Taylor Swift fan and talked her up all the time and since then she hasn't spoken of her and made a comment about not meeting your heroes. And I think there's drama with Sabrina Carpenter and TSwift being all buddy-buddy with her now too lol.
