Honestly I loved the HP stories but the more she opened her mouth the more I started eye rolling

“oh yeah Dumbledore was gay, yeah I planned it that way” (sure Jan, pick your token gay with hindsight that’s great)

The house elves are happy as slaves storyline (the house elves as slaves full stop I mean wtf) and most wizards are completely “meh it’s always been that way, whatchagonnado” about it

Defending Depp (even though she herself is a victim of domestic abuse)

She has always had an enormous amount of power with this franchise. Way more than other authors. The idea that this show is noteworthy because she will be involved is ridiculous.

She also tends to forget her own lore or add stuff out of nowhere so she's not exactly a model of canon fidelity anyway.

I could see how a TV series could do some things better than film and how foreshadowing can be better executed now that all the books are released.
