Maybe they could pull more from designer archives and showcase pieces from older collections? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I always wonder why they don't do this. If I were a celeb this is something I would do. So many great looks that haven't been seen on redcarpets/awardshows.

relationships between the stylists, the celeb, and the fashion house have to be strong. the bigger a celeb is the more likely they’re able to pull an archive piece (Margot Robbie was a Chanel girl so she pulled some pieces for Barbie, Olivia Rodrigo’s worn YSL a lot so she got an archival piece, Gaga and that honking Tiffany diamond at the Oscars a few years back).

I sometimes like to fantasise how if I were a celeb I'd be begging my stylist to dress me in archival Gaultier, McQueen, etc -- I have so many runway lewks from the 2000s-2010s saved in a folder on my harddrive that deserve to be redebuted on the red carpet. 🥲

TBH it sounds like the red carpets are going to be more interesting, sorry they're stressed but if this is like a Project Runway Make It Work situation I'm into the possibilities
