I'm devastated by this.

This show was really important to me, I loved it instantly, thanks to it I met wonderful people who I get to call friends, made me get back into writing fanfiction (even if it was just a sappy one-shot), I rewatched it many times, and it gave me back the blissful feeling OITNB had which is to have a cast of mostly queer characters all together at the same time.

I'm really sad about this and about how it might be a little harder for some of the lesser known actors to find another job that's comparable to this. I just pray that Rhys Darby and My Actual Husband Joel Fry get booked and busy soon <3

tbh it felt like the writing was already on the wall when they started burning off s2 episodes by airing 2-3 per week

And when Taika started talking like he wanted off the show, which was like the ONLY promo he did for season 2.

Saying that he thought he and Rhys wouldn't return because Ed and Stede's story had run its course and he didn't think he would be needed even though the creator was saying he had a plan for a 3rd season.
