I've been supporting Lily for lead but NGL Sandra really convinced me for Anatomy of a Fall.

I feel like Lily hasn't been going hard during the campaign season, so let's see. But I won't be mad if Sandra gets the steal.

I would've gone for Anatomy of a fall for Screenplay over May December.

Do you think Sandra could get into the Oscar race?
It always feels like such a long shot for non US productions to land acting noms so I never expect much in that regard.

Most of the awards blogs are predicting her; they are saying the European block of the Academy will unify behind her and make sure she gets a nomination

Ngl I'd love that for her. Though I want Lily get a nomination too. Not sure who has to be dropped out of the pool for Best Actress then though. Emma Stone got one, she could skip this round XD

I haven’t been able to see All of Us Strangers yet because the closest showing is an hour from me and I’m still hoping it’ll come a little closer, but so happy to see Andrew Scott finally get something from these critics awards!! Manifesting an Oscar nomination!

Also happy to see Sandra Hüller get Best Actress. These are all great choices tbh.

Andrew Scott hive rise! Also thrilled to see Da’Vine Joy Randolph as winner (she was great on the mess that was The Idol).

Damn there are so many movies I need to see. It seems like this will be an interesting race this year. Last year I was all about EEAAO so it will be fun to go into awards season without a clear favourite but we'll see what will happen once I start watching more films.

between anatomy and zone of interest sandra huller has been fucking unstoppable. it'd be nuts if she didn't get a nom for the former (and given how weak supporting is, maybe can slip in for zone too even if da'vine's obviously winning)

Huller could get Jessica Lange-d if she scores a double nom, winning in supporting as consolation prize for not winning Lead.
