I watched eps 7 and 8 in a row. And it got me thinking that there must be many Roys in the world, we just don't hear much about them. This blind obsession with someone who escaped you 10 years ago, and him doing vile acts in the Lords name? Atrocious. I want to see Dot put the last dot in his history. Danish being cocky but realizing too late he's dealing with a mad man was great cinematohraphy. Roy is not dumb, he heard Danish say Mrs Lyon knew where Dot was and wanted her back and he still did what he did because he's lost his mind long time ago.
This episode was so hard to watch. I’m still sitting here physically unwell over it. For the first time since Mad Men I watched John Hamm completely disappear into a character. This has been a great role for him - and I’m saying this from a neutral, not-a-fan perspective - but in this episode he took what he’s been doing with it to another level. I’m not going to be fine again until the consequences have come for him. And all his enablers.
