I get sleeping in separate rooms if someone snores loudly or there's some other issue but entire separate houses??? You don't want a spouse, you just want a part time babysitter that you can fuck on demand.

Yeah I get not spending asleep time with them, because I literally hate that. But my awake time I want to spend at least SOME of it with him because he's honestly a joy and he makes me laugh all the time. I would NEVER want a separate house.

idk, my dude and i are together 13 years this month and we have had A Lot of together time from both being mostly wfh since covid and i like hanging out with him a lot and feel very lucky to have spent these pandemic years especially with someone who is still fun and awesome for me to be around… but if money were no object i would absolutely opt for separate apartments in the same building lol. i like having my space that’s only mine! not as much as i like living with him but if i could have my cake and eat it too, like if i were as rich as cameron diaz, i would.

Yeah, like I can wrap my head around different rooms. Not my cup of tea but I can see it. Separate houses is just wild to me.
