What's PA? the other day on twitter I saw a fight of someone that was sure that Bethlehem was in the US and not Palestine lol
I want to see All of us Strangers and Society of the snow

There's a city called Bethlehem in Pennsylvania, which is what PA stands for in this context, so they weren't entirely wrong! lol. I grew up not too far from there.

Well he was denying the existence of the original Bethlehem in Palestine, they should know at least were the name comes from

Ahhh, gotcha. :/ Yeah, some folks really like to dig into being wrong instead of admitting they might be mistaken.

I watched Farha last night, a movie set in the times of the Nakba. There is a petition going around to have it removed from Netflix.

It should be available in a lot of countries but apparently it doesn't show if you don't have the display setting set to english. 3/4 of the Palestine themed movies that I see with english on are gone if I switch to polish.

i am once again complaining about how hard it is to find out when i can see all of us strangers: i thought landmark might have december 22nd listed just because it's the general release date and not because it'll actually be out that day here. it looks like i was right, smh. no showings at all here for the rest of the year that i can see, so january is likely the earliest i'll be able to see it.

i have time off until january so i was really hoping to have a chance to see it then, but i might see if i can check out something else instead. wonka? poor things, if it isn't gone from theatres here right after christmas? the zone of interest, if that comes out here at all? i need cineplex and landmark to tell me when certain movies will be in my city instead of giving country-wide dates for stuff!

putting that mini-rant aside, priscilla is the only non-christmas movie i've watched this past week lol and for the most part i really liked it. my biggest complaint is that ending felt so rushed. cailee spaeny is great, though.

I just watched 'friends and family christmas'. A hallmark lesbian Christmas movie and it was cute.

really looking forward to poor things - wish more people knew it was adaption of Alasdair Gray, and I hope it draws attention to his work. I usually dislike Emma Stone because she is so obviously aware of herself as an actress but I think that might work well for this role.
