i couldn't even get ketamine approved with multiple failed tries (well for me 4-6 failed tries) when i first pursued alternative treatments. they said i needed to try TMS first before they would consider doing ketamine. it would have been done using nasal ketamine and in the psychiatrist's office under strict supervision - not iv infusion
