i tried watching 39 but i haven't picked it up back yet. i just finished watching my liberation notes which got me thinking, "where do i need to be liberated?"
I've been wondering what happened with Kingdom, that period zombie series?
out of these, i've only watched flower of evil and loved it. tale of the nine-taled is still on my list to watch.
since i only started watching in 2023, there's a lot i liked. not too many i hated, maybe just crash course in romance.
top 5 are probably happiness, the eighth sense, rain or shine, move to heaven, and our beloved summer.
i've just barely started taxi driver after bloodhounds (which WOULD have been a favorite for sure if it weren't for those last 2-3 oddly paced episodes), and i've heard good things about it AND i like the actor from move to heaven.
The only k-drama I've seen that I outright hated was When the Camellia Blooms. So like my 3 worst this year aren't even that terrible. Well except maybe A Time Called You, lol.
I had a GREAT time watching That Winter, the Wind Blows, but it was objectively an absolutely bananas show that was REALLY toeing that incest line, lmao.
eta: Oh and Tale of the Nine-Tailed just got added to Netflix like 2 days ago so like that's a sign you should watch!
i'm trying to chase the feeling* bloodhounds gave me so i feel like i will be in the action/thriller section of my list for a while. i actually read an article that said if you like bloodhounds, give these shows a try. which mentioned taxi driver, bumping it up on my list.
*part of the thrill of that show was woo do-hwan. what a man, what a man, what a man, what a mighty good man.
Woo Do-hwan is one of my K-drama crushes for reeeeeeeeeeeal. lol I watched My Country: The New Age (or wtvr the title was) for him and was absolutely rooting for his characters more than I think the show wanted me to be rooting for him. lmao
I watched season 2 of Sweet Home this past weekend and overall I enjoyed it, but it did feel unfocused. And if I'm being 100% honest I am not sure I understood everything that happened, but we DID get to see Song Kang's ass so like... I am not complaining.
The current shows that I'm watching that I mentioned that could potentially make a Best Of list are My Demon which is another Song Kang drama! No ass in it though. But it is still a good time. I also watched the first two episodes of Welcome to Samdalri and it's very cute. I can tell I'm going to be SUPER into the relationship between the sisters. I love all 3 of the sisters very much already!!

My best/faves were The Glory and Mask Girl. I needed some wild thrillers and they delivered.

it looks like it hasn't been canceled. But that's about it.

I've been watching Taxi Driver since I never watched it when it originally ended. Love a good revenge drama. Sometimes vigilante justice is the answer

But there are so many dramas out there to watch and so little time!
