out of these, i've only watched flower of evil and loved it. tale of the nine-taled is still on my list to watch.
since i only started watching in 2023, there's a lot i liked. not too many i hated, maybe just crash course in romance.
top 5 are probably happiness, the eighth sense, rain or shine, move to heaven, and our beloved summer.
i've just barely started taxi driver after bloodhounds (which WOULD have been a favorite for sure if it weren't for those last 2-3 oddly paced episodes), and i've heard good things about it AND i like the actor from move to heaven.
The only k-drama I've seen that I outright hated was When the Camellia Blooms. So like my 3 worst this year aren't even that terrible. Well except maybe A Time Called You, lol.
I had a GREAT time watching That Winter, the Wind Blows, but it was objectively an absolutely bananas show that was REALLY toeing that incest line, lmao.
eta: Oh and Tale of the Nine-Tailed just got added to Netflix like 2 days ago so like that's a sign you should watch!
i'm trying to chase the feeling* bloodhounds gave me so i feel like i will be in the action/thriller section of my list for a while. i actually read an article that said if you like bloodhounds, give these shows a try. which mentioned taxi driver, bumping it up on my list.
*part of the thrill of that show was woo do-hwan. what a man, what a man, what a man, what a mighty good man.
Woo Do-hwan is one of my K-drama crushes for reeeeeeeeeeeal. lol I watched My Country: The New Age (or wtvr the title was) for him and was absolutely rooting for his characters more than I think the show wanted me to be rooting for him. lmao
this comment had me rechecking his shows and i realized he was in another i had on my list called mad dog that sounds like what i want so i'm pausing taxi driver to get my next woo do-hwan fix.

I just wanted to say I watched this after you mentioned it on here and it was INSANE and I loved every minute of it while also screaming at my TV "don't! that's your brother/sister" basically every episode.
I am so glad I dragged other people into the mindfuck of that show with me.
When the leads were having the cute baking scene straight out of a Hallmark movie? MY GOD. LMAO WHY DID THE WRITERS DO THAT TO US?? She still fully believes he is her brother!!!!
whew bloodhounds was good, but i agree that it got weird towards the end due it feeling so rushed + the actress being switched out. i don't say this often, but the show could use and support a sequel (will never happen).
adding sequel to bloodhounds as a thing i would waste my imaginary lottery winnings on. honestly, just give me any show with the 2 leads again and i would be happy.

But I refuse to get my hopes up.
