"Alright, we gotta get this movie theatrical. Here's a reverse heist, where we end up on his boat, tie him up, and force him to screen the movie."

They do it all, they succeed, and at the end, Bezos goes "That's nice guys.", and as they leave, he turns around and tosses it overboard, because he is no longer the CEO or President of Amazon, Andrew Jassy is, and while he's probably a board member, what board member gives a fuck about some shitty movie getting a theatrical push.

I think him not winning or even being nominated for an Oscar for Nightcrawler fucked with his head badly and he really said “fuck this shit” and his choices since have been a sign of that.

I think in some respect the industry has moved on from him. He’s done some supporting parts where he can act out something new for a role but he lost the mojo of being a notable leading man. It could be an age thing too. Play more fathers, Jake.
