My favorite theory from the subreddit is River Phoenix. Though, apparently all the other people featured were kinda topical, and the photographer had pulled from recent magazines. River had passed away many years earlier. But idk the face shapes and hairline make sense!

MTE. The tattoo is an interesting connection and really similar, but the curtain pic looks pretty clearly like a button hole to me, not a tattoo.

And the Garth guy's jawline is way too narrow compared to curtain guy/girl.

Lol I was legitimately confused why responses are talking about angles and stuff. It's a similar photo, not supposed to be THE photo. The tattoo is pretty compelling too.

I don't follow this case closely but has it been solved which company produced/sold the shower curtain?

yes, but they got sold to another company, and said company claims they don't have the info

Somehow one of the "designers" or employees was asked and they claim they got it from a 2015 issue of Hello! magazine, which makes no sense for a 2008 curtain... unless it was a typo for 2005. It's kind of a mess.

also if they're all from the same magazine why doesn't someone check the magazine the other photos are from?

Hello is a global magazine, so each country has their own edition, there's 52 issues per year, etc... there isn't one definitive issue. And then comes the challenge of tracking them down.
