My favorite theory from the subreddit is River Phoenix. Though, apparently all the other people featured were kinda topical, and the photographer had pulled from recent magazines. River had passed away many years earlier. But idk the face shapes and hairline make sense!

Until I read the part under the picture in the article I thought Garth was River Phoenix. As for the rest of it I had no idea about any of this and was wondering why people were bring up River Phoennix.
