Paul Rudd on His “Very Restrictive” Diet When Preparing to Play Ant-Man

Nov 25, 2023 17:01

Paul Rudd says he had a “horrible” and “restrictive” diet for playing Ant-Man.

“My reward was sparkling water. That’s how horrible that diet was. I was like, ‘Alright, I can have some sparkling water now, I’ve earned it.’”

Replacing carbs especially if it's unbalanced is one thing. To say cutting all sugar is a realistic diet is just bonkers.

Has it been good for you so far? I definitely think stress contributes for me.

I’ve been following her for a while and just got the program last week. I’ve practiced twice now and tonight will be night #3. I did feel the urge to cry during my second time last night, but didn’t really. The instructor says it can take a couple weeks before you feel a release, so I’m being patient and trying to stick with it daily. I do feel mentally lighter/more relaxed after doing it.

I've been skinny my whole life, but have also been self conscious of my belly my whole life because I carry all my weight in my core. I wake up with my stomach shaped like I'm 3 months pregnant. I feel like clothes make me feel even more uncomfortable in my body because I never find bottoms that fit my shape. It's like I need the opposite of curvy for pants.

My mom, sister, and I all carry weight on our bellies no matter what we weigh (we're a wide range of sizes). I've come to accept that's just the way our bodies will always carry weight and it's been freeing.

I just don't want you to have such a restrictive diet when you can't target that area! It might be worth looking outside of Colorado tbh.

I have the same issue. I have a perma pooch but I think it’s bloat, not fat. I have tried everything under the sun to try to get rid of it but it never works. I also am having a hell of a time finding a stomach doctor thanks to the wonderful amurrican health care system /heavy s

I hope you have better luck addressing this issue than me!
