I love Jonathan Bailey so much! I've been debating if I should watch the show or not because I don't like gay shows/movies with sad endings, but the clips I've seen of Jonathan Bailey ugh he's such a good actor and has such an earnest face

tbh it's not that great of a ride, but Bomer and Bailey have great chemistry, so it's worth watching for that.

all i've seen of this show is gifs on tumblr for research purposes and my main takeaway is that Jonathan Bailey is genuinely one of those actors who can generate insane chemistry with whoever he works with, this might be the most compelling i've found Matt Bomer, like, ever?

As a gay person NOPE. Tried watching the first episode but I am over these kind of gay stories. Done to death. Yes, those times were sad, things are certainly still not perfect today but nowadays I prefer stories were gay couples can just BE gay.

Give me every day gay couple struggles like „we like each other but we r both bottoms, what do we do?“ „I am in love with a whore that doesn’t want to settle down? What do I do?“ I am a couch potato but my BF still wants to go to KitKat every day. Even normal straight people storylines like love triangles would ironically be fresh air.

I think Bailey is even slightly taller than Bomer but they are doing a great job of making him look like Bambi in front of the big bad wolf.

IDK, they try their best but in dialogue it's obvious he's supposed to be a 20 something twink in the flashbacks and then he takes off his shirt and he is ripped and the same size as Bomer with wrinkles to boot.

I wish they had just tweaked the dialogue so it didn't contradict Bailey's appearance so much.
