I saw (part) of Trolls Band Together and I hate to describe movies like this, but the best term for it is just 'cute'. I do appreciate the styles of different characters.

Going to see THG tomorrow provided I can fix my phone and get my ticket...

We're going to the LA premiere of May/December tonight! When I signed up for it last week, there was just a Todd Haynes + Samy Burch Q&A, which I was psyched about, but they've since added Natalie Portman, Julianne Moore and Charles Melton to the lineup. :D This is our first big celeb Q&A thing in ages - maybe since Paul Mescal's Aftersun Q&A very early this year? So very glad the strike is over.

Recent film watches have included Spartacus (fine, but would have preferred so many other actors for the titular role), Laura (fantastic, no notes), The Marvels (cute), and The Holdovers (sad, a little stiff, but pretty good).

This weekend, we're looking to see Saltburn and The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes for sure, but I have a lot of other options to choose from as well. I think Netflix is gonna give Rustin a run at the Egyptian, so I will probably wait to see it there.
