the clip of stephanie confronting brooke after she slept with deacon went viral last week, and someone said brooke did the SAME thing to hope. and now i need more deets on that so if someone could help me i’d appreciate it. lol.

haven’t watched a full ep since idk when but i am still invested in brooke logan forrester forrester chambers forrester jones forrester marone forrester spencer forrester’s messy ass.

i vaguely remember that scandal of an episode. the thing was that Hope was saving for her boyfriend and waiting to have sex, because idk she wanted it to be ~special~, that was her entire Brand (she even had a fashion line called Hope for the Future or whatever. anyway). so there was this masquerade party maybe for Hope's birthday? everyone was wearing a mask including Hope, Brooke, Ridge and Hope's boyfriend. Hope and Brooke wore similar things. so long story short, there was a confusion and Hope's boyfriend approached masked Brooke thinking she was Hope and started making out with her conveniently without taking off their masks, Brooke on the other hand somehow???? thought that was Ridge. and yeah, they kinda went all the way and did it right there at the party. it was all so dumb and unbelievable just to create drama and more hate for Brooke. but hey that's the show.

I haven't watched Days in ages but since when does Nicole have a grown daughter? If the girl in the clip who says "I think something happened to my mom" is her kid.

Also, what's wrong with Eric? (Haven't kept up with B&B in a while either)

That was her daughter Holly! She's biologically Nicole's and (the mercifully dead) Daniel Jonas and was born in 2016-ish with Chloe acting as the secret surrogate. She got herself implanted with a fertilized embryo to surprise Nicole but decided to keep it secret because Nicole was dating Victor's evil brother Deimos at the time (or something like that).
Anyway...they SORAS'ed Holly a few weeks ago. So her having a teen-aged daughter is a fairly recent development. Currently Holly is crushing after her step-brother Johnny and using "Clueless" as her justification for it not being creepy.

As for B&B and Eric - I haven't been watching regularly either but...he's been coughing up blood and the doctors say he has maybe 6 months to live. IDK if they've properly given a name to his disease just that "his condition is worsening."

I'm not enjoying the plot point, but, at least, the show is actively acknowledging the ick factor and not playing it like it's some cutesy thing.

I'll grant some grace to the current state of soaps, because, aside from Days, the on air material is still, to my knowledge, under the pen of the scabs

Y&R's shitty HW Josh Griffin is fi-core, so they had no change with writers during the strike and B&B was still being overseen by Brad Bell as a producer, so I'm sure he still had some input over story direction even if he couldn't actively be writing it.

It'll be interesting to see what DAYS will be like when the strike-era scripts start airing in late December. The first few months were apparently written with the now-fired abusive EP Albert Alarr acting as HW and then current EP Janet Drucker (who has been at DAYS since the 80's) and hopefully Sheri Anderson. So fans are nervous and curious. How much will suck? Will it actually be better without Ron? Or will it all suck until Janet's tenure begins and someone who properly cares about the show will be at the helm. Either way the next 6 months of DOOL are probably going to be rocky AF.

Agreed about Anna shooting Charlotte. Finola better get an Emmy for this story.
