mte. I really like Aaron, but I'm another person confused as to why he was cast when he's a tenor. And something about Sutton in the Mrs. Lovett role seems odd to me, but idk why tbh. I wonder if the higher ups were just terrified about ticket sales after Josh and Annaleigh leave so they're going more off of name recognition.

I saw it with Josh, Annaleigh, and Jordan, but Gaten's understudy was performing that night. He did a fantastic job, but I was a little disappointed not to see Gaten after hearing what a great Toby he was!

The Broadway fandom is up in arms about this casting but I think it’s very in line with this particular production style. Sutton Foster especially seems very primed to fill Annaleigh Ashford’s shoes.

Aaron would've made a great Anthony like 15 years ago but I'm not sure if this is the role for him...
