From what I understand it’s not just busy or understaffed restaurants. It’s almost all of them. He mentioned that it was near impossible to find one who takes orders.

That's so crazy to me! Families and so many people only get food to-go or get it to-go the vast majority of the time.

That's what I do. Places that don't do takeout.... don't get my business much. Like, see you when my friends aren't anxious about COVID, if you're empty, or when the pandemic is over (bc I too am hell- bent on not getting COVID).

Yeah I almost exclusively do to-go because of covid cautiousness and not being comfortable with eating at restaurants

Thanks for making this post OP. I heard of Keith before about helping one restaurant bounce back after his visit. After learning his strategery after this ATL discourse, I really respect him more.

But it’s just icing on the Honey Hennessy Wings Cake that ATL JUST got its first Michelin listings. 😩 The people are in shambles.

Yep. I moved here last year and looking up restaurants to add to a list , I got curious about Michelin status only to learn there was nothing 🥴. Maybe because I previously have lived near. Chicago and NYC, so I was dumbstruck

I've been following this whole thing but I still don't understand the difference between "Milk and Honey" and "The Real Milk and Honey" especially because we also have both restaurants in the DC/Maryland area lol
