the real milk and honey making a whole video to explain how unbothered they were was just pathetic. you don't know who keith lee is, but you felt compelled to flex on tiktok about it? get out of here.

I've been following this whole thing but I still don't understand the difference between "Milk and Honey" and "The Real Milk and Honey" especially because we also have both restaurants in the DC/Maryland area lol

i read on twitter milk and honey was started by a couple, they broke up, and then the scorned man created the REAL milk and honey

lol here in SF there was a "Hong Kong Lounge" and "Hong Kong Lounge II" that were evidently largely unaffiliated (like I think technically there was a connection but they were not in cahoots with each other in any way) and Hong Kong Lounge II was way better... but then it burned down in a freak gas main accident and customers started going to the Hong Kong Lounge as a show of support, like lines down the block for weeks, not realizing that they were actually supporting their rival lmao*

*I might be getting this story wrong but this is the info given to me by my parents and I shan't be researching

sounds like Hong Kong Lounge decided to boost their business/take out the competition/win the name turf war by any means necessary lol

wouldn't be surprised if there was some involvement of local organized crime

lol well by all accounts it was a legit crazy accident! PG&E nicked a line while doing work in the middle of the intersection and there was a huge fireball that went in the direction of the way the wind was blowing, which happened to be towards the corner the restaurant was on. it would be a crazy level of infiltration (and luck) for someone to pull that off intentionally but hey you never know…
