That's the thing, she is the first new pop girl to kind of openly signal Britney in her style, performance approach, distinctively distinct vocal but like....that vocal isn't vocaling. With Britney I could always make out what she was singing and Tate is trying to blend that with the "beigeness" of the 2020s it just doesn't work
