Tate McRae made her television debut performance for her viral hit single, "greedy." The song, co-written by Ryan Tedder, has so far peaked at no. 14 on the Billboard Hot 100, making it McRae's highest charting single in her career thus far. It also has so far peaked at no. 3 in the UK. Talking to Billboard about the recent success and her new single, she says, “I feel like for the first time in my career - with the visuals and the single art and the music video and the song - it feels like 100% my vision,” says McRae.

“I can look at it on Spotify and I can look at it on YouTube and be like, ‘I’m so proud of this.’ And I think that’s why I’m having a really good time. I’m working beside people that I really admire, and people that really respect me as a young woman, and that feels very satisfying … I just feel very lucky right now, and excited for what’s to come.”

The song continues to rise on radio and consistently has strong streaming numbers, despite recent releases by Taylor Swift, Bad Bunny, Drake, etc.

McRae is also besties with Olivia Rodrigo, and made an appearance in the music video for 'bad idea right?'
